Casa Cruz Mercado is a full-scale redevelopment and retail development project led by Casa Cruz Group at 2970 Santa Rosa Avenue in Santa Rosa. The project begins with the transformation of an existing commercial property through substantial site, structural, and building improvements, including demolition and civil work, new utilities and accessibility improvements, a new two-story building addition, new mechanical systems, and supporting site infrastructure.

The interior buildout then transforms the property into Casa Cruz Mercado, with a complete grocery and food-service environment incorporating retail sales areas, customer service, specialty departments, food preparation and storage spaces, offices, restrooms, refrigeration and market equipment, as well as entirely new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, wall, ceiling, and finish systems.
What makes the project particularly representative of Casa Cruz Group is that we are developing both the property and the retail concept from the ground up through our in-house team—working as the property developer while simultaneously creating the Casa Cruz Mercado brand, customer experience, food and beverage concepts, merchandising strategy, interior environment, and operating model. Rather than simply building a space for an existing tenant, Casa Cruz Group is taking the project from initial vision and real estate development through design, construction, branding, and ultimately operation of the finished concept.
